How to Solve Ukaar Problem in Preeti Font | Sove Ukaar Problem.

When we try typing Nepali there arises a problem in ukkar ( tarkule ku and bardhane ku ) which lies in the button of single quote and double quote. It is not a wise decision to insert ukkar from the symbols.So it is mandatory to make the settings in Microsoft Word while typing Nepali.

One should follow these step either in Windows 10 or 7 to make the settings. This article helps to solve ukaar problem in preeti font in Nepali typing.

Step 1.

 Open Microsoft Word and change the font into any Nepali font available such as Preeti, Kantipur

 or Himalaya.

Step 2.

Goto file menu and click to option in windows 10 or word option in windows 7.

Step 3.

Click the option Proofing.

Step 4.

 Click to AutoCorrect options.

Step 5.

 Click to format as you type and untick the first box which says " straight quotes" with "smart quotes".

In this way straight quotes can be replaced with the smart quotes ( tarkule ku and bardhane ku). Now you can type ukkar without inserting from the symbols.
